HEY JOE
Congrats to my amigo Joe Conway who tied the knot recently to a nice gal.
The bearded Maine based editor of the US version of Drift surfing is a really good writer and has a pretty inspirational living space in downtown Portland where he crafts words on his old typewriter, listens to vinyl, and then pushes a few buttons on his Macbook pro to publish some radness thru the interwebs. He was gracious enough with Tyler and Jim from Corduroy to let us crash during the Hurricane Bill swell a year or so back. Below is a snap I saw from his blog on his new morning ritual writing space…. a lack of computer probably makes it abit less distracting. Regardless, I dig it. Lots of good stuff always popping up on Drift, be sure to check it out from time to time. I have a small column on the site and from time to time post a few snaps of what I’m working on.
